RFID inventory

RFID inventory for jewelry stores

Count a case, a vendor's line or the whole store with a handheld RFID reader, and the count lands in Flawless POS for review. RFID checkout, tag printing and the tags themselves come from us too.

How an RFID count works

  1. TagPrint and encode RFID tags on your tag printer as pieces come in.
  2. ScanWalk the store with an Android handheld RFID scanner. Count by vendor or sweep everything; blind scans continue across several people and devices.
  3. ReconcileScans sync to Flawless POS. Review, approve and reconcile them against your inventory.
  4. SellAt the counter, the RFID checkout reader recognizes tagged pieces and adds them to the sale.

FINALLY!!! We have a POS system that allows us to track inventory in real time.

Frequently asked questions

How does RFID inventory work in a jewelry store?

Each piece gets an RFID tag. A handheld reader picks up the tags in a case or a whole room without line of sight, and the scan syncs to Flawless POS, where you review and reconcile it against what the system expects.

Do I need special tags for jewelry?

Yes, RFID jewelry tags. We supply them (2 x 4 PET RFID jewelry tags in white, gold, green and beige, 2,000 per roll) and the tag printers that encode them.

Can more than one person count at the same time?

Yes. Blind scans continue across multiple users and devices, and you can count by vendor or sweep the entire store.

Can I use RFID at checkout?

Yes. An RFID checkout reader recognizes tagged pieces at the counter, which speeds up checkout and helps prevent loss.

Do I still need barcodes?

Flawless prints both RFID and standard tags, so you can use either or both.
